Synopsis
Rita was born with a golden eye, a rare and coveted trait that has all but vanished from the face of the earth. She was captured to be sold as a slave, and owing to her trauma, Rita lost her ability to speak. On the night she is about to be auctioned, Rita is saved by a charismatic young man and his accomplice who expertly dispatch the slavers that pursue them.
In the safety of a boat, Rita's mysterious savior introduces himself as Albert Lorenzi, the leader of a mafia organization. With terror blooming in her chest, Rita realizes that although she was rescued from a miserable life of slavery at the hands of the wealthy, she has ended up amid far more dangerous people. Nonetheless, the true surprise comes when Albert declares that he has stolen Rita away from her terrible fate to make her his bride!
