Synopsis
Traversing the war-scarred lands of the Southeast Asian Union outside of Japan, Shinya Kougami's next destination is the Tibet-Himalayan Alliance Kingdom. On his way, he makes acquaintance with Guillermo Garcia, commander of a paramilitary group with the goal of restoring peace, but refuses his offer to join them. When Kougami jumps in to aid a vehicle of refugees being attacked by guerrillas, his remarkable combat skills awe Tenzing Wangchuck—a young girl of Japanese and Tibetan descent who lost her parents to the violence of war. Motivated by Kougami's ability, Tenzing requests that he teaches her how to fight for the purpose of taking the life of the man who killed her parents. Although murder conflicts with Kougami's unwavering morals, he sympathizes with Tenzing and agrees to train her. But soon enough, Frederica Hanashiro from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs appears, on her mission of bringing back to Japan and the Sibyl System the once abandoned Japanese emigrants—one of whom is Tenzing.
